Auburn sits in the valley between the Green and White Rivers, and if you’ve lived here through a few winters, you know the weather doesn’t mess around. Cold, damp stretches that run from October through March put a real load on older heating systems, and July can deliver enough heat to remind you that your AC isn’t optional.
The housing picture here is varied. A lot of the city is built on ranchers and tri-levels from the ’60s through the ’80s, particularly in South Auburn and around Game Farm Park, where those original furnaces and electrical panels are getting long in the tooth. Lakeland Hills skews newer, with homes from the ’90s and early 2000s that are increasingly candidates for heat pump upgrades. Downtown, you’ll find older Craftsman-era homes with comfort challenges all their own.
Cascadia Comfort serves homes across Auburn with heating repair, AC repair, furnace service, electrical work, and heat pump installation. We give you an honest read on your system and recommend repair when repair makes sense.

Auburn is one of those cities that’s harder to pin down than people expect. It stretches from the valley floor up into the hills, takes in neighborhoods as different as Lea Hill and Lakeland Hills, and runs alongside two rivers. It’s got Emerald Downs drawing crowds on summer weekends, the White River Valley Museum keeping the area’s history in view, and a Main Street that’s genuinely walkable, with local restaurants and shops that longtime residents actually use.
The Sounder station pulls commuters to Seattle and Tacoma every day, which means a lot of Auburn households are running on tight schedules. The White River Amphitheatre brings people from across the South Sound for concerts. Les Gove Park hosts Fourth of July celebrations and community events that fill the neighborhood. These aren’t just amenities; they’re the rhythms people plan their lives around.
The homes here reflect all of that variety. Newer construction in Lakeland Hills, established neighborhoods near downtown, working-class blocks on the west side, and rural edges that blur into Pierce County. Whatever the house looks like, people here want it to work right.
We’re a local company, not a call center or regional franchise. When something goes sideways with your HVAC or electrical system, Cascadia Comfort is the neighbor that comes out, takes a look, and tells you what’s actually going on.
Great experience, they were on time, super clean and respectful of our home, responsive and even came in under budget. Would definitely recommend!Posted on Rick Rieger Always a great experience! Regis and Riley have been so helpful. Also, Adam in the office is easy to work with. Highly Recommended!Posted on Jennifer Stephen Regis and his team came out to install our heat pump and they did a fantastic job. They were on time and completed the work to a very high standard. Regis took the time to explain everything to me in detail and answered all of my questions thoroughly. When the job was done, they cleaned up thoroughly and left the place in the same condition in which they found it. They charged a very fair price for the work done and I would highly recommend working with them and if I ever have any other HVAC needs, we will definitely call Cascadia.Posted on Sean McAllister Amazing service, communication and fast repair within 24 hours of request! Thank youPosted on Shan H Thank you for professional service.I am definitely recommending your service. Thank you for quick response and great work.Posted on Mohammed Al Khalidi Our heat pump went out so we called Cascadia Comfort at the recommendation of a friend. We had called another company and they had given us a repair price that was outrageous so we wanted a second opinion. When they made the appointment, it was fast and easy. When the first technician came out they texted us with a picture of him and some info about him which made us feel more at ease knowing who to expect. Regis wasted no time diagnosing the issue and gave is a straightforward cost for repair and that he was wary of putting so much money into our 22 y/o unit, but told us that he was willing to do so if that's what we chose. He also gave us options for replacement since it was past its sevrice life, but there was absolutely no pressure. I appreciated that he gave me options and educated me but didn't feel like upselling or trying to get me to spend more money than we needed to. Once we made our decision they scheduled the repair quickly. Riley came out and got to work on the repair. He was friendly and answered all our questions. You could tell he was passionate about his work. Billing was easy and the unit works great! When we do have the money to replace our unit, I know where we'll be going: Cascadia Comfort!Posted on Brad Lakey Cascadia Comfort has been amazing to work with. They are very informative and detail oriented, great customer service. Shoutout to Regis and Riley for installing the AC unit!Posted on Caleb Shih Thank you.Posted on MICHAEL GIRMA I’ve used services from many companies over the years, but most of them did a rushed job and only charged extra fees. Cascadia Comfort was different. They explained everything thoroughly, performed a detailed inspection, and even handled the cleaning with great care. The service was incredibly friendly and trustworthy. I plan to continue using them regularly in the futurePosted on Lisa Montague

COMMON HVAC ISSUES WE FIX
Auburn keeps a full schedule. Between the morning commute on 167, kids at Green River College, and evenings at the Outlet Collection or White River Trail, there’s not a lot of room for a broken furnace to slow things down.
When your heat goes out in January or your AC quits mid-August, same-day help matters. We handle heating repair, AC repair, furnace issues, and heat pump problems on short notice, and we also carry generators for households that want a backup plan. If it’s an electrical concern on top of everything else, we can look at that too.
We keep our schedule manageable so we can actually be there when you need us, not three days from now. That’s the difference between a local company and a regional dispatch line.
Yes. We keep our schedule tight specifically so we can respond quickly when something breaks. Whether you’re dealing with a furnace that stopped working on a cold morning or an AC system that gave out during a heat wave, we work to get to Auburn homes the same day whenever possible.
We cover heating and cooling across the board, including furnace repair and installation, AC repair and replacement, heat pump service, and ductless mini-splits. We also handle electrical work, generator installation, and commercial HVAC support for Auburn businesses. If you’re not sure whether to repair or replace, we’ll give you a straight answer based on what we actually find.
We do. Auburn has a real mix of commercial and light industrial properties, and we’re set up to handle HVAC needs for businesses here alongside our residential work. Give us a call and we can talk through what your building needs.
We lean toward repair whenever the numbers make sense. If a system is reasonably young and the repair cost is well below what replacement would run, we’ll tell you to fix it. If it’s getting old, breaking down repeatedly, or running inefficiently enough to cost you real money every month, we’ll walk you through what replacement would look like. You get our actual assessment, not a sales pitch.
Yes. We offer financing options for larger installs and replacements. It’s worth asking when you schedule service so we can walk you through what’s available for your project.
Your home is your investment, and your comfort is non-negotiable. Whether your furnace is making a noise it shouldn’t, your AC didn’t survive winter storage, or you’re ready to upgrade an aging electrical panel, we’re just a call away. We serve Aurburn homeowners with the same care and attention we’d give our own neighbors — because in many cases, we are.
