Capitol Hill sits in the middle of Seattle, which means it gets the full range of what the Pacific Northwest can throw at a home, wet winters, gray shoulder seasons, and the occasional summer stretch that reminds you why cooling matters. The housing stock here reflects decades of city life: a lot of it went up between the 1960s and late 1970s, which means furnaces, heat pumps, and electrical systems that have been working hard for a long time. Older equipment in older homes doesn’t always fail loudly. Sometimes it just gets less efficient, season by season, until you notice it in your energy bill or your comfort.
From the bungalows and apartment buildings near Volunteer Park to the denser blocks closer to Broadway, Cascadia Comfort provides honest heating and cooling assessments for Capitol Hill homes. We look at what you have, tell you what it actually needs, and recommend repair over replacement whenever that’s the right call.

Capitol Hill has a character that’s hard to replicate. It’s a walkable, lived-in part of Seattle where the Pike/Pine corridor hums with activity year-round and Cal Anderson Park draws neighbors out in every season. The blocks here range from century-old Craftsman houses to mid-century apartment buildings to newer mixed-use construction, sometimes all within the same stretch of street.
That variety is part of what makes this neighborhood feel alive, and it’s also what makes home comfort a little different from house to house. A 1968 unit near Broadway might need a different approach than a recently renovated condo a few blocks away. We know that. We don’t show up with a one-size answer. Cascadia Comfort is a local company, not a franchise or a call center, and when we work in Capitol Hill, we’re working in a community we genuinely know.
Great experience, they were on time, super clean and respectful of our home, responsive and even came in under budget. Would definitely recommend!Posted on Rick Rieger Always a great experience! Regis and Riley have been so helpful. Also, Adam in the office is easy to work with. Highly Recommended!Posted on Jennifer Stephen Regis and his team came out to install our heat pump and they did a fantastic job. They were on time and completed the work to a very high standard. Regis took the time to explain everything to me in detail and answered all of my questions thoroughly. When the job was done, they cleaned up thoroughly and left the place in the same condition in which they found it. They charged a very fair price for the work done and I would highly recommend working with them and if I ever have any other HVAC needs, we will definitely call Cascadia.Posted on Sean McAllister Amazing service, communication and fast repair within 24 hours of request! Thank youPosted on Shan H Thank you for professional service.I am definitely recommending your service. Thank you for quick response and great work.Posted on Mohammed Al Khalidi Our heat pump went out so we called Cascadia Comfort at the recommendation of a friend. We had called another company and they had given us a repair price that was outrageous so we wanted a second opinion. When they made the appointment, it was fast and easy. When the first technician came out they texted us with a picture of him and some info about him which made us feel more at ease knowing who to expect. Regis wasted no time diagnosing the issue and gave is a straightforward cost for repair and that he was wary of putting so much money into our 22 y/o unit, but told us that he was willing to do so if that's what we chose. He also gave us options for replacement since it was past its sevrice life, but there was absolutely no pressure. I appreciated that he gave me options and educated me but didn't feel like upselling or trying to get me to spend more money than we needed to. Once we made our decision they scheduled the repair quickly. Riley came out and got to work on the repair. He was friendly and answered all our questions. You could tell he was passionate about his work. Billing was easy and the unit works great! When we do have the money to replace our unit, I know where we'll be going: Cascadia Comfort!Posted on Brad Lakey Cascadia Comfort has been amazing to work with. They are very informative and detail oriented, great customer service. Shoutout to Regis and Riley for installing the AC unit!Posted on Caleb Shih Thank you.Posted on MICHAEL GIRMA I’ve used services from many companies over the years, but most of them did a rushed job and only charged extra fees. Cascadia Comfort was different. They explained everything thoroughly, performed a detailed inspection, and even handled the cleaning with great care. The service was incredibly friendly and trustworthy. I plan to continue using them regularly in the futurePosted on Lisa Montague

COMMON HVAC ISSUES WE FIX
In a neighborhood as active as Capitol Hill, a heating or cooling problem doesn’t sit quietly in the background. When a furnace stops working in January or an AC unit gives out during a July heat stretch, you need a response that matches the pace of the neighborhood. Whether you’re near the Cal Anderson Park end of the Hill or closer to the Pike/Pine blocks, we keep our schedule tight so we can get to you the same day.
Cascadia Comfort handles heating repair, AC repair, heat pump service, and electrical calls without the runaround. If it’s urgent, we treat it that way.
Yes. When something stops working in Capitol Hill, we do our best to get there the same day. We keep our scheduling manageable so we’re not making you wait days for a basic heating or cooling issue.
We handle heating repair, furnace service, AC repair and installation, heat pump service, cooling systems, electrical work, generators, and commercial HVAC. Capitol Hill’s older housing stock means we see a wide range of system ages and conditions, and we’re comfortable working with all of it.
Yes. Capitol Hill has a mix of residential and commercial properties, and we work with both. If you manage a small business or a mixed-use building in the area, we can help with commercial HVAC needs.
We look at the age of the system, the cost of the repair, and how efficiently it’s been running. If a repair makes sense, we say so. We’re not going to push a replacement you don’t need. We’ll give you a straight assessment and let you decide.
Yes, financing is available for qualifying customers. If you’re looking at a larger installation or replacement and want to spread the cost out, ask us about current options when you schedule.
Your home is your investment, and your comfort is non-negotiable. Whether your furnace is making a noise it shouldn’t, your AC didn’t survive winter storage, or you’re ready to upgrade an aging electrical panel, we’re just a call away. We serve Capitol Hill homeowners with the same care and attention we’d give our own neighbors — because in many cases, we are.
