16+ years of repair & install
Coupeville sits in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains, which gives it a drier, more variable climate than most of western Washington. Winters here are still cold and damp enough that a furnace earns its keep, and the summers, while moderate, can push temperatures high enough that an AC unit or heat pump makes a real difference. Most homes in town carry some age on them, with a mix of Victorian-era originals near the waterfront, mid-century builds, and scattered newer construction further from Front Street. Older homes often come with aging HVAC systems and electrical panels that were never designed for modern demands.
Cascadia Comfort works with homeowners throughout Coupeville on everything from furnace repair and heat pump service to cooling installs and electrical work. Whether your home is a century-old craftsman near Penn Cove or a newer build on the south side of Highway 20, we’ll give you a straight read on what your system actually needs, and we’ll tell you when a repair makes more sense than a replacement.

Professional Service
We complete the repair or installation with quality parts and workmanship. Our team recommends top ranked brands, via Consumer Reports, so you can trust repairs and new equipment last.
Coupeville is not a place that changes fast, and that’s exactly what people here like about it. Families have lived on these same streets for generations. Multi-generational farms still operate inside Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve. The Coupeville Wharf has stood over Penn Cove since 1905. The Island County Historical Museum anchors downtown the same way it always has. This is a community that holds onto things worth keeping, and that extends to the homes people live in.
The housing stock here reflects that same character. You’ll find well-loved older homes throughout town, cottages tucked back from the water, and rural properties outside the core that have their own heating and electrical challenges. Some homes haven’t had their systems touched in decades. Others have been updated piecemeal over the years and just need someone to sort out what’s actually there.
We’re not a national franchise. Cascadia Comfort is a local company, and when we come out to a home near Fort Casey or somewhere along the bluffs above Admiralty Inlet, we treat it the same way we’d treat our own. We show up, take a look, and tell you what we find.
Great experience, they were on time, super clean and respectful of our home, responsive and even came in under budget. Would definitely recommend!Posted on Rick Rieger Always a great experience! Regis and Riley have been so helpful. Also, Adam in the office is easy to work with. Highly Recommended!Posted on Jennifer Stephen Regis and his team came out to install our heat pump and they did a fantastic job. They were on time and completed the work to a very high standard. Regis took the time to explain everything to me in detail and answered all of my questions thoroughly. When the job was done, they cleaned up thoroughly and left the place in the same condition in which they found it. They charged a very fair price for the work done and I would highly recommend working with them and if I ever have any other HVAC needs, we will definitely call Cascadia.Posted on Sean McAllister Amazing service, communication and fast repair within 24 hours of request! Thank youPosted on Shan H Thank you for professional service.I am definitely recommending your service. Thank you for quick response and great work.Posted on Mohammed Al Khalidi Our heat pump went out so we called Cascadia Comfort at the recommendation of a friend. We had called another company and they had given us a repair price that was outrageous so we wanted a second opinion. When they made the appointment, it was fast and easy. When the first technician came out they texted us with a picture of him and some info about him which made us feel more at ease knowing who to expect. Regis wasted no time diagnosing the issue and gave is a straightforward cost for repair and that he was wary of putting so much money into our 22 y/o unit, but told us that he was willing to do so if that's what we chose. He also gave us options for replacement since it was past its sevrice life, but there was absolutely no pressure. I appreciated that he gave me options and educated me but didn't feel like upselling or trying to get me to spend more money than we needed to. Once we made our decision they scheduled the repair quickly. Riley came out and got to work on the repair. He was friendly and answered all our questions. You could tell he was passionate about his work. Billing was easy and the unit works great! When we do have the money to replace our unit, I know where we'll be going: Cascadia Comfort!Posted on Brad Lakey Cascadia Comfort has been amazing to work with. They are very informative and detail oriented, great customer service. Shoutout to Regis and Riley for installing the AC unit!Posted on Caleb Shih Thank you.Posted on MICHAEL GIRMA I’ve used services from many companies over the years, but most of them did a rushed job and only charged extra fees. Cascadia Comfort was different. They explained everything thoroughly, performed a detailed inspection, and even handled the cleaning with great care. The service was incredibly friendly and trustworthy. I plan to continue using them regularly in the futurePosted on Lisa Montague

COMMON HVAC ISSUES WE FIX
Life on Whidbey Island has a rhythm to it, and a broken furnace or a cooling system that quits mid-August doesn’t fit into that rhythm. For households out near the prairie edges or further from town, waiting days for a technician isn’t a practical option. Cascadia Comfort offers same-day HVAC service to Coupeville homes because we understand that heating repair, AC repair, and electrical issues don’t schedule themselves around your week.
Whether it’s a heat pump that’s stopped responding, a furnace making noise it shouldn’t, or a generator that needs attention before the next wind event comes through, we’re responsive and we’re local. We’ll get to you the same day when we can, give you an honest assessment, and get your home back to where it needs to be.
Yes. We know that getting to Coupeville involves crossing the water or driving out to Whidbey Island, so we plan our scheduling accordingly. When your heating or cooling stops working, we do our best to get there the same day rather than leaving you waiting. We keep our schedule tight so that Coupeville homeowners and businesses get a real response, not a three-day window.
We handle heating and cooling across the board, including furnace repair, furnace installation, heat pump service, AC repair, and AC replacement. We also do electrical work, generator installation, and commercial HVAC for businesses in Coupeville and around Central Whidbey. If you’re not sure whether what you need falls within our scope, just call and we’ll tell you directly.
We do. Whether it’s a small business on Front Street or a larger commercial space elsewhere in Coupeville, we can handle commercial HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance. We approach commercial work the same way we do residential, with an honest assessment upfront and no pressure to replace what can reasonably be repaired.
We look at the age of the equipment, the cost of the repair relative to the system’s remaining useful life, and how efficiently it’s running. If a repair makes financial sense, we’ll say so. We’re not here to sell you a new system when your current one has good years left in it. When replacement is the right call, we’ll explain why and walk you through your options.
Yes. Financing is available for qualifying installs and larger repairs. If the cost of a new furnace, heat pump, or AC system is a concern, ask us about financing options when you schedule. We’d rather help you get the right system for your home than have cost be the reason you delay a repair or replacement that genuinely needs to happen.
Your home is your investment, and your comfort is non-negotiable. Whether your furnace is making a noise it shouldn’t, your AC didn’t survive winter storage, or you’re ready to upgrade an aging electrical panel, we’re just a call away. We serve Coupeville homeowners with the same care and attention we’d give our own neighbors — because in many cases, we are.
