Granite Falls sits at the foot of the Cascades, where the weather doesn’t mess around. Winters here are damp and cold, and the older homes along Granite Avenue and the surrounding residential streets feel every degree of it. Summers have gotten noticeably warmer over the years, and a house that never needed AC a decade ago might tell a different story today.
The housing stock reflects the town’s growth waves: some homes built in the ’80s and ’90s, a newer wave of construction near the high school bypass, and everything in between. That mix means we see a wide range of equipment out here, from aging furnaces that have been running since Clinton was president to newer heat pump installs that just need a tune-up. Electrical panels in older homes are often undersized for the loads people put on them now, and that’s something we look at too.
Cascadia Comfort handles heating and cooling for Granite Falls homes straight, including furnace repair, AC service, heat pump installation, and electrical work. Whatever shape your system is in, we’ll tell you what it actually needs.

Granite Falls has a character that’s harder to find the closer you get to the city. It’s the kind of place where people know the staff at the hardware store on Stanley Street, show up for Railroad Days every October, and let their kids walk to Frank Mason Park on a Saturday afternoon. The Stillaguamish River runs along the north end of town, and the Mountain Loop Highway starts right here, making this the last real stop before the foothills open up into something bigger.
Neighborhoods like Suncrest Farms and River Terrace have seen steady growth in recent years, bringing newer families into a town that’s long valued its slower pace. Those newer homes come with their own HVAC questions, and so do the older blocks closer to downtown where the bones are solid but the mechanical systems are getting long in the tooth.
We work throughout the Granite Falls area because it’s part of the same Snohomish County communities we’ve been serving since we started. We’re not a franchise routing your call through a regional dispatch center. When you reach out to us, you’re talking to a local team that will come out, take a look, and give you a straight read on what’s going on.
Riley was Super knowledgeable and was very helpful, explaining how things work. And how I should maintain the heat pump for optimum Heating and coolingPosted on Sheri Mathe Came in, identified problem and provided a solution as quick as they could with getting all the approvals. Thank you. Oh and having a bear is a mandatory prerequisite for everyone working here 😉 so if you like yourself a bearded handyman, you found the right placePosted on Olga Kovalenko We had a great experience with Riley from Cascadia Comfort! He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to give us clear, honest, and practical feedback about our furnace issues. Instead of pushing for a costly replacement, he focused on helping us understand the problem and how we could maintain our current system, which we really appreciated. Riley was also very friendly and explained everything in a way that made it easy for us to follow along. It’s refreshing to work with someone who is both professional and genuinely looking out for the customer’s best interest. We’ll definitely continue using Cascadia Comfort for our HVAC needs and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends and family!Posted on Amrita Bhowmick I recently had my furnace serviced and maintained by Riley, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. He was professional, punctual, and did an excellent job. He took the time to clearly explain everything and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I really appreciated his attention to detail and customer service. I would highly recommend Riley and would definitely use his services again in the future.Posted on Susan B. I honestly don’t know where to begin—Cascadia Comfort were absolute lifesavers. Our furnace stopped working in the middle of February, and after getting nowhere with our home warranty company, we had to find our own help. Cascadia came up first in my search, and I’m so glad they did. I reached out through their website and was scheduled the same day. Regis came out and explained everything in a clear, easy-to-understand way, and helped us get everything submitted to the warranty company right away. Even though the warranty process dragged on for 30 days, Cascadia stayed on top of it the entire time. Adam kept us updated weekly and helped translate everything so we weren’t left in the dark. When it came time for installation, Riley was amazing—quick, efficient, and thorough. He walked us through all the features and made sure we felt confident with everything before he left. And to top it off, when the city and electrical inspectors came out for the post-install inspection, it took them less than two minutes to call out what a great job was done—it passed with zero comments. This team truly goes above and beyond for their customers. Highly, highly recommend!Posted on Brianne Nevill Booking an appointment with Adam was great. So good to work getting my service scheduled very quickly! Riley, the technician, was sooooo good. I was able to watch everything he did and he explained in detail what he was looking for and giving me the results real time. Very much appreciated the team work with Cascadia Comfort. I will definitely keep them in mind when I move to my new home. Thanks, guys! You're the best.Posted on Vicky McKay The crew arrived on time and worked well together, coordinating the work to minimize disruption and inconvenience. We are happy with their efforts and the end results.Posted on Rich Cook Fixed our fireplace. Super nice and professional : )Posted on TV Coahran Absolute FIVE STAR service from Cascadia Comfort! From the very first contact over the phone, I knew this company was legit. Adam was very helpful and professional while scheduling our next morning appointment. One thing that definitely sets them apart is that they send a text with your technicians name and photo, so you know who will be showing up at your door. Regis came in and quickly repaired the issue and even went above and beyond and fixed a cabinet door that I was having issues with (Thank you, Regis!). I would highly recommend this company, and we will definitely be calling them for future HVAC needs.Posted on Janet Gilman Olson Riley Vance amazing and resolved the issue quickly.Posted on Tara Blaska

COMMON HVAC ISSUES WE FIX
Life in Granite Falls moves at its own pace, but a furnace that quits in January or an AC that dies in the middle of a rare July heat stretch doesn’t wait for a convenient opening in your schedule. For families commuting out to Everett or working from home in the Pinnacle Ridge area, a broken system isn’t just uncomfortable, it’s disruptive.
We offer same-day service for heating repair, AC repair, and heat pump issues throughout the area. If your system is cycling off, blowing cold air when it shouldn’t, or just not keeping up, reach out and we’ll get someone out the same day when we can. We also handle generator installation and electrical calls that tend to come up in older homes when equipment finally gives out. Cascadia Comfort keeps our schedule tight so we can respond quickly, without putting you on a three-day wait list.
Yes, same-day service is available in Granite Falls for most heating and cooling calls. When your furnace goes out on a cold morning or your AC stops working mid-summer, we do our best to get out the same day. Scheduling is handled directly, so there’s no runaround.
We cover a full range of HVAC and electrical services in Granite Falls: heating repair, furnace installation and service, AC repair and replacement, heat pump installation, cooling system maintenance, generator installation, and electrical work. We also handle commercial HVAC for local businesses. If something in your home or building isn’t working right, we’re a good first call.
Yes. We work with commercial properties in Granite Falls and the surrounding area for HVAC installation, repairs, and ongoing service. If you own or manage a building in town and need commercial HVAC support, reach out and we can talk through what you need.
We look at the age of the equipment, what repairs are needed, how it’s been running, and what a replacement would actually cost you over the next several years. If a repair makes sense, we’ll say so. We’re not in the business of pushing replacements when a fix will do the job. You’ll get an honest assessment and the information to make your own call.
Yes, financing is available for qualifying customers. If you’re looking at a larger install like a new furnace, heat pump, or AC system and the upfront cost is a barrier, we can walk you through the options when we’re on-site or over the phone.
Your home is your investment, and your comfort is non-negotiable. Whether your furnace is making a noise it shouldn’t, your AC didn’t survive winter storage, or you’re ready to upgrade an aging electrical panel, we’re just a call away. We serve Granite Falls homeowners with the same care and attention we’d give our own neighbors — because in many cases, we are.
