Maple Valley sits in a natural pocket between the Cedar River valley and the Cascade foothills, and the weather here reflects that geography. Winters bring stretches of cold, damp air that push furnaces and heat pumps hard, while summers have grown noticeably warmer, with heat events that homes built in the ’80s and ’90s weren’t designed around. Most of the housing stock in Maple Valley went up during that earlier building boom, which means a lot of local families are managing systems that are aging quietly in the background.
For homeowners around the Lake Wilderness area or in the subdivisions along Witte Road, that often looks like a furnace that’s losing efficiency, an AC unit that’s undersized for today’s summers, or electrical panels that haven’t kept pace with modern loads. Cascadia Comfort works on all of it, including heat pump installations, AC repair, and the kind of honest furnace assessment that tells you whether repair or replacement actually makes sense for your situation. We give you a straight answer, not a sales pitch.

Maple Valley has a character that’s hard to pin down from the outside. It’s a commuter city for a lot of King County tech workers, but it doesn’t feel like one. Families come here for the Tahoma School District and stay because of what the community actually is: trails along the Green to Cedar Rivers corridor, weekend mornings at Lake Wilderness Park, the Maple Valley Days parade drawing people out every June. The Four Corners district is where people run their daily errands, and there’s a real small-town rhythm underneath all of it.
The homes here reflect that mix of established and newer. Craftsman-style houses sit alongside ’90s-era builds and newer subdivisions that have filled in around Summit Park and along SR 169. Each generation of home comes with its own set of HVAC and home comfort considerations, from aging ductwork in older builds to systems in newer homes that are ready for a heat pump upgrade.
Cascadia Comfort is a local company, not a franchise dispatching technicians from a regional hub. When we come out to a home in Maple Valley, we’re neighbors making a service call. We show up with the context that comes from working in this area, give you an honest assessment of what’s going on, and let you make the call.
Our first experience with Cascadia Comfort was a very positive one. We suspected a refrigerant pipe was leaking from our existing heat pump system causing damage to a window. We called Cascadia Comfort and they immediately scheduled an appointment for us with Riley. Riley arrived right on time and got to work to identify the problem. He was extremely thorough and kept us informed at all times. He did need to return a second time to do the repairs, but he was able to finish ahead of schedule. At all times, communication was clear and we were provided with up front reasonable costs for services. Although Riley did not find the heat pump piping to be the cause of the damage to our window, he did find other concerns that he promptly addressed and repaired that will save us from future problems with our system, and more costly damages than replacing a window. Thank you Riley and Cascadia Comfort for your prompt response and professional service. We will definately be using your company for all our future needs with our heat pump system.Posted on Google Kathleen Walsh I would definitely recommend Cascadia Comfort. Fantastic, small business I’m more than happy to support! Everyone was friendly on the phones and in person. Riley, is a super cool guy and fixed our leaking mini split that was installed incorrectly by another company. He also did yearly maintenance on the whole system. Thankful for his great attitude and work ethic. I’m very picky about my floors and he didn’t hesitate to wear shoe covers and clean up if he made a mess. Adam and Riley seem extremely knowledgeable in HVAC systems and I would be more than happy to use them again if the need were to arise.Posted on Google Kelly Parker Fantastic and friendly service. Appreciated the foreside and ability to fix the problem. Thanks.Posted on Google Senka Agic Bergman Cascadia Comfort came to service our HVAC system as well as to provide estimates for some work we would like done. Scheduling was a breeze and when I had to cancel the original appointment due to travel, they were very accommodating. Our technician called when he was an hour out and arrived promptly. He was very informative and thorough as we went through the scope of work. The maintenance on our furnace indicated the need for replacing a part, and the technician explained not only the function of that part, but also showed me the multimeter reading. He had the part on the truck and was able to take care if it immediately. We are very happy to have had Cascadia Comfort to provide the maintenance. We would definitely have them perform this work in the future. It will take a few days to get the estimate back for additional work, so I am not able to comment on that pricing, but the maintenance and repair price and part seemed reasonable!Posted on Google Lea Ellis Very friendly and helpful teamPosted on Google Sai Rahul Kasula We recently booked an AC and furnace tune-up through Groupon with Cascadia Comfort, and we had a great experience from start to finish. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and hassle-free. We really appreciated the excellent customer service and attention to detail. We would definitely recommend Cascadia Comfort to anyone looking for reliable HVAC service and will gladly use them again in the future.Posted on Google Manali Great service, friendly, timely.Posted on Google Jay Anderson They are the best! Our HVAC system was leaking, and Riley from the company came to our home the very same day. He was extremely knowledgeable, quickly identified the issue, and shared many helpful tips on how to maintain our HVAC system for the long term. We really appreciated getting a same-day appointment, which made the whole experience even better. The team was professional, courteous, and efficient from start to finish. I highly recommend them!Posted on Google Aman Mahajan Regis came out for regular maintenance on my heat pump and furnace and he was awesome! COMMON HVAC ISSUES WE FIX
Most Maple Valley households run on a busy schedule. Between the SR 18 and SR 169 commute corridors, a lot of families aren’t home until evening, which means a heating or cooling problem that starts in the afternoon can become a real problem by bedtime. Neighborhoods like Dorre Don and the areas around Lake Lucerne don’t have a lot of flexibility for waiting out a multi-day service window.
Cascadia Comfort offers same-day help for heating repair, AC repair, and furnace issues, and we’re available for emergency calls when a system goes down at the wrong moment. We also handle generator installation for households that want a backup when the power goes out, and electrical work for homes where the panel hasn’t kept up with the demands of modern HVAC equipment. When something goes wrong, we get there quickly, tell you what we found, and fix it right.
Yes. We keep our schedule tight so we can respond quickly when something goes wrong. Whether it’s a furnace that stopped working on a cold morning or an AC unit that gave out during a heat stretch, we work to get to Maple Valley homes the same day you call. We don’t make you wait days for a technician.
We cover the full range of residential HVAC and electrical needs in Maple Valley, including heating repair, furnace installation and service, AC repair and replacement, heat pump installation, ductless mini-splits, electrical work, panel upgrades, and generator installation. If you’re unsure what you need, we’ll come out, take a look, and give you an honest answer.
Yes. We work with commercial properties in Maple Valley as well as residential. If you have a small business or commercial space with HVAC or electrical needs, reach out and we’ll talk through what the job involves.
We look at the age of the equipment, how often it’s been needing service, and how it’s actually performing relative to what it should. A lot of systems that get flagged for replacement can be repaired at a fraction of the cost and run reliably for several more years. We’ll tell you what we’d do with our own home, and then let you decide.
Yes. Financing is available for qualifying customers on larger jobs like system replacements or new installations. If cost is a concern, ask us about it when you call. We’d rather find a path forward than have you put off a repair that’s going to turn into a bigger problem.
Your home is your investment, and your comfort is non-negotiable. Whether your furnace is making a noise it shouldn’t, your AC didn’t survive winter storage, or you’re ready to upgrade an aging electrical panel, we’re just a call away. We serve Maple Valley homeowners with the same care and attention we’d give our own neighbors — because in many cases, we are.
