Olympia sits at the southern tip of Puget Sound, which means it gets the full range of what the Pacific Northwest delivers: wet, grey winters that test your heating system and warm, dry summers that can catch a household off guard without reliable cooling. The city’s housing stock reflects decades of growth, with a large portion of homes built between the 1970s and early 1990s mixed alongside historic Craftsman properties in neighborhoods like South Capitol and more recent builds spreading west toward Cooper Point. That range of home ages matters for HVAC and electrical systems, since many of these houses are running furnaces, heat pumps, and panels that have quietly aged past their best years.
Cascadia Comfort handles heating and cooling needs across Olympia’s residential neighborhoods, and we give homeowners an honest read on what their system actually needs. Whether it’s a furnace that’s losing efficiency or an older AC unit that’s struggling through a warm July, we’ll tell you what’s worth repairing before we ever talk about replacement.

Professional Service
We complete the repair or installation with quality parts and workmanship. Our team recommends top ranked brands, via Consumer Reports, so you can trust repairs and new equipment last.
Olympia has an identity that sets it apart from most cities its size. It’s the state capital, but it doesn’t feel like one. The neighborhoods around the Capitol Campus are full of families walking tree-lined streets, not just government workers commuting in. The Saturday Farmers Market draws people from across Thurston County. Percival Landing is where locals actually spend Saturday mornings, not just a landmark that ends up on a brochure.
The homes here reflect that same character. In the Eastside neighborhood, you’ll find modest mid-century houses with big front yards and long-established neighbors. Out toward Watershed Park and the Cain Road area, homes tend to be a bit newer but still carry that Pacific Northwest feel, with wooded lots and a quieter pace.
Cascadia Comfort works throughout these communities because we’re a local company, not a franchise dispatching technicians from a regional hub. When a heating or cooling system goes down, you’re getting a neighbor who knows the area and gives you a straight answer about what it needs. That’s how we’d want it handled in our own homes, and it’s how we handle it in yours.
The only downside of using Cascadia Comfort? You wish they just be the one that handle all sorts of work other than HVAC because they define what a fantastic service should be. They extremely responsive with communication, doesn't have any shady practice of charging you insane amount of visit fee that doesn't go towards the actual repair, reasonable pricing, and excellent use of technology to let you know who's coming and when are they coming for repair. The technician was extremely friendly and knowledge. He let me shadow him and explain every steps to me. I wish they can also be my landscaper, home repair, car repair....Posted on Google![]()

COMMON HVAC ISSUES WE FIX
Olympia winters move in quietly and stay a while. Out in the Bigelow Highlands or along the residential streets near West Bay, a furnace that stops working on a January evening isn’t a minor inconvenience. It’s a problem that needs to be solved the same day.
Cascadia Comfort offers same-day service for heating repair, AC repair, and urgent electrical needs throughout the area. We also install and service generators for households that want backup power when outages hit during storm season. If your heat pump is making a noise it shouldn’t, or your system quit mid-week, call us and we’ll get there quickly. No call center, no scheduling queue that stretches into next week. Just a local team that shows up and gets it handled.
Yes. When your heating or cooling system stops working, waiting isn’t really an option. We keep our schedule responsive so we can get to Olympia homes and businesses the same day whenever possible. Call us and we’ll tell you honestly what we can do.
We offer a full range of HVAC and electrical services in Olympia, including furnace repair and installation, heat pump service, AC repair and replacement, ductless mini-split systems, electrical work, generator installation, and commercial HVAC support. If something’s going wrong with your home’s comfort or electrical systems, we can help.
We do. We work with commercial properties in the Olympia area in addition to residential customers. If you manage a small business or commercial space and need HVAC service or support, reach out and we’ll walk you through what we can do.
We look at the age of the equipment, the cost of the repair relative to what a replacement would run, and how the system has been performing overall. We’re not going to recommend a new system if a repair makes more sense financially. We’d rather give you an honest answer and keep more money in your pocket.
Yes, financing is available for qualifying customers. If a repair or installation is a bigger expense than you planned for, ask us about financing options when you schedule your service.
Your home is your investment, and your comfort is non-negotiable. Whether your furnace is making a noise it shouldn’t, your AC didn’t survive winter storage, or you’re ready to upgrade an aging electrical panel, we’re just a call away. We serve Olympia homeowners with the same care and attention we’d give our own neighbors — because in many cases, we are.
