Queen Anne sits on a hill above the rest of Seattle, and the weather makes you feel it. Winters here are wet and gray from November through March, and the summers, while short, bring stretches of real heat that expose how few older homes on the hill were ever built with cooling in mind. That’s a pattern we see regularly throughout the neighborhood.
The housing stock reflects the area’s age. A significant share of the homes here were built in the early-to-mid 1900s, with a mix of Craftsman bungalows, classic single-family homes, and older multifamily buildings that were never designed around modern HVAC. Furnaces in these homes are often working harder than they should be, and electrical panels in some of the older properties were sized for a different era. Many households are now upgrading to heat pumps as a practical way to handle both heating and cooling without a full system overhaul.
Cascadia Comfort works with homeowners across Queen Anne on everything from furnace repairs and AC service to electrical work and heat pump installations. We give you an honest read on what your system actually needs, not just a push toward replacement.

Professional Service
We complete the repair or installation with quality parts and workmanship. Our team recommends top ranked brands, via Consumer Reports, so you can trust repairs and new equipment last.
Queen Anne is one of the few Seattle neighborhoods where you genuinely feel removed from the city while still being right in the middle of it. The hill creates its own rhythm. Families walk the stairs along the Boulevard, grab coffee on Queen Anne Avenue, and spend weekend mornings at the Queen Anne Farmers Market or down at Seattle Center. It’s a neighborhood that people choose deliberately and tend to stay in for a long time.
That long-term character shows up in the homes too. West Queen Anne holds some of the area’s oldest residential blocks, where original architecture has been carefully maintained over generations. North Queen Anne, near Seattle Pacific University, has its own quieter residential feel, with tree-lined streets and older homes that have seen decades of wear. Kinnear Park and the surrounding hillside streets give the neighborhood a greenness that feels unusual for a community this close to downtown.
We work throughout Queen Anne because we live and work in this part of Seattle. We’re not routing calls through a regional dispatch center, and we’re not sending someone who has never been to the neighborhood. When a furnace stops working on a cold January morning or a cooling system gives out mid-August, we want to be the team that actually knows these streets and gets there quickly.
Great experience, they were on time, super clean and respectful of our home, responsive and even came in under budget. Would definitely recommend!Posted on Rick Rieger Always a great experience! Regis and Riley have been so helpful. Also, Adam in the office is easy to work with. Highly Recommended!Posted on Jennifer Stephen Regis and his team came out to install our heat pump and they did a fantastic job. They were on time and completed the work to a very high standard. Regis took the time to explain everything to me in detail and answered all of my questions thoroughly. When the job was done, they cleaned up thoroughly and left the place in the same condition in which they found it. They charged a very fair price for the work done and I would highly recommend working with them and if I ever have any other HVAC needs, we will definitely call Cascadia.Posted on Sean McAllister Amazing service, communication and fast repair within 24 hours of request! Thank youPosted on Shan H Thank you for professional service.I am definitely recommending your service. Thank you for quick response and great work.Posted on Mohammed Al Khalidi Our heat pump went out so we called Cascadia Comfort at the recommendation of a friend. We had called another company and they had given us a repair price that was outrageous so we wanted a second opinion. When they made the appointment, it was fast and easy. When the first technician came out they texted us with a picture of him and some info about him which made us feel more at ease knowing who to expect. Regis wasted no time diagnosing the issue and gave is a straightforward cost for repair and that he was wary of putting so much money into our 22 y/o unit, but told us that he was willing to do so if that's what we chose. He also gave us options for replacement since it was past its sevrice life, but there was absolutely no pressure. I appreciated that he gave me options and educated me but didn't feel like upselling or trying to get me to spend more money than we needed to. Once we made our decision they scheduled the repair quickly. Riley came out and got to work on the repair. He was friendly and answered all our questions. You could tell he was passionate about his work. Billing was easy and the unit works great! When we do have the money to replace our unit, I know where we'll be going: Cascadia Comfort!Posted on Brad Lakey Cascadia Comfort has been amazing to work with. They are very informative and detail oriented, great customer service. Shoutout to Regis and Riley for installing the AC unit!Posted on Caleb Shih Thank you.Posted on MICHAEL GIRMA I’ve used services from many companies over the years, but most of them did a rushed job and only charged extra fees. Cascadia Comfort was different. They explained everything thoroughly, performed a detailed inspection, and even handled the cleaning with great care. The service was incredibly friendly and trustworthy. I plan to continue using them regularly in the futurePosted on Lisa Montague

COMMON HVAC ISSUES WE FIX
Life on the hill doesn’t slow down when your heat goes out. Between the morning school run near Coe Elementary, the evening commute back up from downtown, and all the hours in between, there isn’t a good time for your heating or cooling system to fail.
When something stops working, Cascadia Comfort offers same-day service across Queen Anne so you’re not waiting around hoping for a callback. Whether it’s a furnace that won’t kick on, an AC unit that’s struggling in a home without good airflow, or an electrical issue that’s affecting your system, we send someone out the same day. We also handle generator installation for households that want a backup when the power goes out. Our goal is to get your home back to comfortable quickly, and to be straightforward with you about what it’s going to take.
Yes. When your furnace stops working on a cold morning or your AC goes out during a heat wave, you shouldn’t have to wait days for help. We keep our schedule flexible so we can reach Queen Anne homes quickly, without the runaround.
We handle heating repair, furnace installation, heat pump service, AC repair and replacement, cooling system installation, electrical work, panel upgrades, and generator installation. We also support commercial HVAC needs for businesses in Queen Anne. If you’re not sure what you need, we’ll walk you through it honestly.
We do. Queen Anne has a mix of small businesses, retail along Queen Anne Avenue, and multifamily buildings that all have their own HVAC and electrical needs. We offer commercial HVAC support and can work with property owners and managers to figure out the right approach.
We look at the age of the equipment, what the repair is going to cost relative to its remaining lifespan, and how efficiently the system is running now. If a repair makes sense, we’ll say so. We’re not in the business of pushing replacements when a fix will do the job.
Yes, financing is available for qualifying customers. If you’re looking at a larger installation, like a new furnace, heat pump, or AC system, financing can make it easier to move forward without putting it off. Ask us about current options when you schedule your service.
Your home is your investment, and your comfort is non-negotiable. Whether your furnace is making a noise it shouldn’t, your AC didn’t survive winter storage, or you’re ready to upgrade an aging electrical panel, we’re just a call away. We serve Queen Anne homeowners with the same care and attention we’d give our own neighbors — because in many cases, we are.
